Job Description

Located in Magnolia, TX, this full-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services within two elementary schools in the Houston area. Starting April 10, 2026, and running through May 22, 2026, the role involves an itinerant caseload serving young students at Sam Houston Elementary and Gordon Reed Elementary, with a potential third school added during the assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy support to elementary-aged students across multiple school sites.
  • Collaborate effectively with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and educational staff to implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school district protocols.
  • Adapt therapy sessions to meet the diverse needs of students in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
  • ASHA SLPA certification is preferred.
  • Completion of TEA fingerprinting and other time-sensitive credentialing requirements.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location:

  • Two elementary schools in Conroe, TX (Houston area).
