Transform your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) into an impactful journey supporting students communication needs across multiple school sites ranging from elementary to high school. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers the rewarding chance to help change lives while collaborating with school-based teams near Lumberton, NC.
Work onsite Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week, assisting licensed Speech Language Pathologists and supporting students with a variety of speech and language disorders. Candidates with an active North Carolina SLPA license are required, and travel professionals are welcome to apply.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active North Carolina SLPA license (required)
- Prior experience in school settings highly preferred
- Ability to work with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable adapting between different school sites and caseload needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Support students with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Assist in screening, assessment, and report preparation
- Engage with education teams and families to support student outcomes
- Travel to assigned school sites as required
