Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational or therapy settings is preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Up-to-date knowledge of therapy materials and digital tools for documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist with screenings and assessments as needed
  • Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare instructional materials and adapt activities to individual student needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
  • Communicate progress and concerns to supervisors and participate in team meetings
