This contract role will enable qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to collaborate closely with educators and specialists while making a genuine impact onsite at a welcoming school community. Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure, in accordance with state regulations
- Experience or strong interest working with PreK-12 students in a school setting
- Solid understanding of completing speech-language assessments and delivering services as documented in IEPs
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect interventions as directed by supervising SLPs
- Effective communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
- Positive attitude and ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings and follow treatment plans under SLP supervision
- Deliver individualized and small group interventions to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute observations, and help document student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student sessions and progress notes in accordance with school protocols
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students receiving speech-language services
