Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA licensure, in accordance with state regulations
  • Experience or strong interest working with PreK-12 students in a school setting
  • Solid understanding of completing speech-language assessments and delivering services as documented in IEPs
  • Ability to provide both direct and indirect interventions as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Effective communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language screenings and follow treatment plans under SLP supervision
  • Deliver individualized and small group interventions to students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources for therapy sessions
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute observations, and help document student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student sessions and progress notes in accordance with school protocols
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all students receiving speech-language services
