This contract role offers the chance to work as either a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with K12 students across multiple schools in Hendry County. Desired skills and qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP or SLPA license required
- Hands-on experience in school settings preferred
- Adaptability and willingness to travel throughout Hendry County

- Dedication to fostering the growth of students from kindergarten through high school
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills across settings
- Track student data and maintain detailed records to report on progress and meet compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for best practices in language development
- Deliver services flexibly across a variety of school sites within the county as needs arise
