Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Florida SLPA license or certification / ability to obtain
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Experience with pediatric, school-based caseloadspreferably in K12 settings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision across K12 grade levels
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Collect data and maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with screenings and classroom-based interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate and support communication with parents/guardians
