What Were Looking For:

  • Current Florida SLPA license (active status required)
  • Previous experience in a K12 school setting is highly preferred
  • Flexible and willing to travel to different school locations within Hendry County
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, educators, and families from a variety of backgrounds

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to K12 students in alignment with IEPs and educational goals
  • Support lead SLPs in implementing intervention plans and conducting screenings
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for assigned caseloads
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support
  • Adapt to assignments at multiple school sites, traveling as needed within the county
