- Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state
- Experience supporting children in educational or clinical settings preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to various classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, under-supervision speech and language therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
- Assist with the development and preparation of therapy materials
- Document student progress, maintaining confidential and accurate records
- Support the supervising SLP with data collection, progress monitoring, and program planning
- Participate in team meetings, contributing valuable observations regarding student progress
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages students self-esteem and communication growth
