Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid SLPA license or credential as required by the state
  • Completed an associates degree or bachelors program in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, adaptable nature
  • Skilled at following therapy plans created by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation and confidentiality

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate language goals within the classroom
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities as directed
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and required training
