This contract position has a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and offers the chance to make a real difference for K-12 learners in dynamic school environments. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas
• Previous work or clinical experience with children or adolescents preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with school-based speech therapy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse age groups
• Team-focused mindset and a student-centered approach
• Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students with communication needs in a variety of settings (general ed, special ed, etc.)
• Assist with preparation, adaptation, and organization of therapy materials
• Track student progress and help with maintaining accurate therapy documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student growth
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development as needed
