This full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position in Irving, TX offers the opportunity to support K-12 students with speech and language development over the course of the current school year. This contract role requires a dedicated professional licensed in Texas to deliver both direct and indirect therapy services while ensuring consistent progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct indirect therapy activities such as consultations, observations, and support for classroom staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress throughout treatment
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with K-12 school populations preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and educators
Position Details:
- Location: Irving, Texas
- Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week, full-time
- Duration: Immediate start through the end of the current school year
