Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current SLPA license (Maryland)
• Experience in school-based settings or healthcare environments preferred
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Collaborate with special education teams, attending meetings and contributing to IEP development as needed
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Travel between assignments (itinerant work) as required, with travel paid
• Provide services for a full-time schedule, 40 hours weekly, following district calendar
• Participate in ongoing training, utilizing provided resources and support from experienced professionals
• Adapt therapy activities to address a wide range of communication challenges within a specialized educational setting
