Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school-based setting
• Familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with licensed SLPs, teachers, and parents
• Basic knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Implement therapy activities aligned with students IEP goals
• Track and document students progress and session outcomes
• Prepare session materials and reinforce carryover activities as directed
• Support the SLP in assessments and data collection
• Communicate regularly with SLP, teachers, and families regarding student progress
• Participate in relevant meetings and professional development
