Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant supporting multiple school campuses in the Hope Mills, NC, area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from August 13, 2026, through May 27, 2027, working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours each week. You'll collaborate with educational staff and families to help students at elementary, middle, or high school levels achieve their communication goals in a dynamic, onsite environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLPA license required (must be up to date and valid for the duration of assignment)
  • Previous experience within school settings or with pediatric populations highly preferred
  • Ability to support students across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Capacity to work effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Open to both local and travel professionals committed to onsite service delivery

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and support services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist with implementation of IEP goals through individualized and group therapy sessions
  • Collect data and maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Adapt materials and activities to maximize student participation and communication growth
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing collaboration across campuses as required
