Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
• Current SLPA state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and other staff
• Ability to follow treatment plans created by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
• Commitment to contributing to student growth and positive educational experiences

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist in screening, assessing, and documenting student progress
• Support SLPs in preparing therapy materials, managing caseloads, and maintaining detailed records
• Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate communication goals and strategies within the classroom
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and school events as needed
