Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, speech-language pathologists, and families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
  • Support students communication development in both individual and small-group settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support language and speech goals
  • Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
