This position is for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support services within a school setting in Harrisburg, PA. This is a contract role focused on assisting speech-language pathologists in delivering effective communication interventions to students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans
• Conduct individual and group sessions with students under supervision
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Prepare therapy materials and support classroom activities as needed
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student communication goals

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Current SLPA certification or eligibility according to state requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
• Ability to follow therapy plans and adapt techniques to meet student needs
• Experience working in a school environment preferred but not required
