Support communication development for students in an enriching school environment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. Collaborate with certified Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to make a meaningful difference in students daily lives.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with implementing individualized education plans under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, leading small group and one-on-one sessions, tracking student progress, and supporting classroom teachers with language and communication strategies. The ideal candidate brings energy, compassion, and adaptability to every interaction, creating a positive space for student growth.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current SLPA licensure or certification as required by the state of Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated experience working with children or students, ideally in a school or pediatric setting
• Familiarity with speech/language therapy, documentation, and intervention techniques
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners and be flexible in a fast-paced educational environment
• Commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards in student service

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined by supervising SLP
• Implement intervention activities and practice exercises
• Collect data and keep accurate records of student progress and session outcomes
• Prepare materials and resources for use in therapy and classrooms
• Participate in meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
