Support students communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an engaging K-12 educational environment near Great Falls, MT. Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
- Current or eligible SLPA licensure/certification in Montana (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic educational environment, working with students across a variety of age groups and needs.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy interventions and carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist with screening and informal assessments of students speech and language abilities as directed.
- Provide direct and consultative services to students under the supervision of a certified SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with outlined goals.
- Support the development and creation of therapy materials and classroom resources.
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.
