Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current or eligible SLPA licensure/certification in Montana (or ability to obtain).
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic educational environment, working with students across a variety of age groups and needs.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions and carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with screening and informal assessments of students speech and language abilities as directed.
• Provide direct and consultative services to students under the supervision of a certified SLP.
• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with outlined goals.
• Support the development and creation of therapy materials and classroom resources.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.
