Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLPA licensure required
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions from supervising SLPs
- Adaptability and a collaborative approach to working with students and educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a certified SLP
- Implement individual or small group therapy activities according to students IEPs
- Collect data and document student progress for ongoing assessment
- Assist with creating, preparing, and organizing therapy materials
- Support communication needs in classroom settings and collaborate with teachers and staff
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to help tailor therapy approaches
