Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Desired Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program, or equivalent
- Valid SLPA license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different grade levels and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering effective therapy services to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to facilitate classroom integration of therapy strategies
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds
