Step into a rewarding full-time contract position supporting student communication success in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Serving K-12 students, youll work closely with experienced school professionals and Speech-Language Pathologists to help deliver high-quality therapy across a diverse caseload. This opportunity spans multiple sites, ensuring variety in your daily experience and the chance to positively impact learners from elementary through high school. Start date is as soon as possible, extending through June 2027.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLPA credentials
- Experience in a K-12 school setting, with comfort navigating multiple sites as needed
- Understanding of speech/language development and common communication disorders in school-aged children
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach and professional communication skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans created by supervising SLPs and document student progress accurately
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Support implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, tracking progress and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with assessments and preparation of therapy materials
- Communicate student needs and successes with teachers, families, and the therapy team
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed for caseload coverage
