Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a contract role based near Gadsden, AZ. This onsite, full-time position spans from September 2026 through May 2027, empowering you to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year. Caseload will be determined, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment where your contribution directly enhances communication outcomes for young learners.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Active Arizona SLPA license in hand
  • Possession of a current IVP Fingerprint Card
  • Experience working within school-based settings as an SLPA is highly valued
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and participation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Ability to adapt your approach according to individual student needs across a diverse PreK-8th grade population

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Work one-on-one and in group settings to support speech and language development
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required
  • Implement therapy plans and activities to promote students communication skills
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings where appropriate
  • Assist in the development and adaptation of materials for therapy sessions
