Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLPA license required
- Prior experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children and educational teams
- Committed to maintaining high ethical and professional standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language support services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for speech and language
- Collect and document student data on progress and service delivery
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and team members to ensure successful service
- Prepare and utilize activities, materials, and strategies that foster communication development
- Serve as a positive resource within the educational community
