Job Description

A school-based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available to serve K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment in Fredericksburg, VA. This contract role runs from August 12, 2025, to May 22, 2026, providing hands-on experience within a supportive onsite setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering direct speech therapy services to students across grades K-12.
  • Implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs under the supervision of a certified SLP.
  • Record and document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Participate in professional development and adhere to school and state policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Current Virginia Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required.
  • Previous experience or familiarity with school-based caseloads is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced educational setting.

Work Details:

  • Location: Fredericksburg, VA
  • Schedule: Onsite, 37.5 hours per week, August 12, 2025, through May 22, 2026.
