Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services within an elementary school setting for a well-supported leave coverage assignment. This full-time, on-site position is located near Florissant, MO, and offers you a chance to make a direct, meaningful impact on young learners communication needs during an important period. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will run through mid-October, with the possibility of extending depending on district needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Missouri SLPA license
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse caseload
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding student privacy
  • Willingness to complete fingerprinting, provide TCN number, and fulfill all onboarding compliance requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized education programs and support students' speech-language goals
  • Assist with documentation, progress notes, and contribute to team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure student success
  • Participate actively in school-based initiatives and foster a supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in line with district and state guidelines

This is an in-person opportunity offering 37.5 hours per week at a single elementary campus, ensuring you build rapport with staff and students throughout the assignment. Youll be working in a supportive environment with access to resources and collaboration.
