Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Washington State
- Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an educational or pediatric setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to follow guidance and treatment plans established by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Capable of maintaining accurate documentation and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities and treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Work directly with students to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Record and report progress, keeping clear and up-to-date records
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Create a positive, engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning
