Step into a rewarding contract opportunity, supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license (required)
- Previous experience providing therapy in a school setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with speech and language IEP goals and data tracking
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage a dynamic, multi-site caseload
- Commitment to onsite-only services for the duration of the contract
- Enthusiastic and supportive approach to working one-on-one or in small groups with students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans and interventions developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support students progress through direct therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Collect and document data on student performance and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students communication development
- Assist in screening and assessment protocols as directed
- Maintain timely records and contribute to IEP meetings when requested
