Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant certification in Texas
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 populations, is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and families
- Adaptable, compassionate approach to meet individual student needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Supporting students across various language and articulation challenges
- Collecting data and documenting student progress
- Providing engaging therapy activitiesindividually, in small groups, or classroom settingsto boost students confidence and participation
- Collaborating with the educational team to foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
