This school-based role provides Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) services to dedicated campuses in Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Speech-Language Pathology, or Communication Disorders.
• Strong foundations in speech and language development, intervention strategies, and student engagement.
• An SLPA license is not required for this role in Virginia.
• Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Support students in achieving individualized speech and language goals.
• Adapt activities and materials to help students access curriculum and improve communication skills.
• Collect data, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other support staff to create supportive learning environments.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable input to student care plans and IEPs.
