The assignment will begin on August 24th, 2026, and continue through June 12th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day). To be considered, applicants must provide their current zip code to help determine suitable school placements within the region.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field (mandatory)
- Hold a valid Virginia SLP license
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organized, flexible, and proactive in a fast-paced school environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with evaluation, documentation, and progress monitoring

- Prepare materials and maintain student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
