Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant where youll make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students, primarily at the elementary school level. Work closely with a collaborative team in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential services to a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students, all at a single school. This full-time, onsite role offers consistency through the entire 2026-2027 school year, running from August through June.

Ideal Background & Skills:

  • Current SLPA certification
  • Valid PPS Credential for California
  • Previous experience working in educational settings or with children is a bonus
  • Effective communicator with both students and staff
  • Organized and flexible, able to adapt to changing student needs
  • Passionate about supporting student communication goals

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions under the direction of a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Implement therapy activities that foster communication in a school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
  • Engage with students in both individual and small-group settings
