Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting school-aged learners as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Durham, NC area. Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience providing SLPA services in a school setting, including delivering therapy and accurately documenting student progress
- Proven ability to effectively use Google Drive and MS Office for managing documentation and facilitating team communication
- Current registration with the North Carolina speech board OR eligibility for full registration (including previously obtained temporary SLPA registration)
- Preparedness to complete NCBOE registration following successful interview and hire, with supervisory support
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as assigned by district needs
- Maintain timely and accurate records of sessions, progress, and communications
- Collaborate with supervisors, educators, and families to support students speech and language development
- Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing professional learning
- Adapt to the needs of multiple campuses as required
