Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to implement therapy plans under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Flexibility when working with diverse student needs
- Proficient in documentation and progress reporting
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students as guided by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support assessment activities and help document student progress
- Modify and prepare therapy materials and activities suitable for individual or group needs
- Maintain clear records, data logs, and progress notes according to school and district guidelines
- Communicate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce therapy goals in the classroom setting
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development as required
