Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification required
  • Prior experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of speech and language development

  • Ability to work under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, as assigned
  • Support SLPs in preparing, planning, and conducting therapy sessions
  • Document student progress and update records accurately
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
  • Assist with screening and assessment activities as needed
  • Help maintain therapy materials and equipment
