Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Prior experience in an educational or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid understanding of speech and language development
- Effective communication skills with children, families, and staff
- Ability to work under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, as assigned
- Support SLPs in preparing, planning, and conducting therapy sessions
- Document student progress and update records accurately
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
- Assist with screening and assessment activities as needed
- Help maintain therapy materials and equipment
