Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K12 students within a vibrant educational setting. This contract position centers on providing critical speech and language services as a valued SLPA, working onsite in a welcoming school environment just outside Davis, CA. Over the course of the full 202627 academic year (August through June), you'll collaborate with educators and help approximately 20 studentsprimarily in the elementary age rangeachieve their communication goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active SLPA certification required
  • PPS Credential for California is mandatory
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K12 students
  • Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs and faculty to tailor therapy plans
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting students' growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to a caseload of about 20 students
  • Focus therapy primarily on elementary-aged children, with some engagement across K12
  • Develop, document, and implement therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and assist in preparing reporting documents
  • Support classroom teachers and staff in creating a language-enriching environment
  • Foster positive relationships with students and their families

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $55.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
