Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing support within K-12 schools throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With multiple full-time positions available, youll collaborate with diverse student populations and work closely alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in fostering positive change.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Texas licensure or eligibility for SLPA certification
  • Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, K-12
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Team player with a passion for supporting student growth
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Implement therapy activities and individualized education plan (IEP) goals for students
  • Track students progress and document services in compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Assist SLPs with assessments, screenings, and therapy planning as requested
  • Participate in team meetings and support school staff in fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Serve as a resource for families and educators on communication strategies
