Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Texas
• Previous experience in a school setting or with children is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students of varying backgrounds and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct group and individual therapy sessions for K-12 students
• Track student progress and maintain accurate session documentation
• Support classroom teachers with strategies to enhance classroom communication
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations
