Job Description

An engaging opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work within a school setting serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This onsite, full-time position offers a regular 40-hour workweek and is located in Copperas Cove, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy services to K-12 students
  • Assist with speech and language assessments and interventions according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to promote effective communication strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) certification is required
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively within an educational environment
