A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in San Antonio, TX. This contract position offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to the communication development and success of a diverse student population over a standard five-day workweek.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas SLPA License required
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct support to students to improve speech, language, and communication skills under supervision
- Document student progress, maintain records, and assist in assessment activities
- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Participate in professional development as required to maintain licensure and improve service quality
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
