A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Conroe, TX, providing services to elementary-aged students across multiple schools. This travel assignment requires dedication and flexibility, offering an engaging role supporting speech and language development in young learners.
Location:
Conroe, TX (Houston area) Travel position serving multiple elementary schools
Duration:
April 10, 2026 May 22, 2026
Schedule:
Full-time, 5 days per week, approximately 35 hours weekly
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary-aged students on an itinerant basis
- Support caseloads across 2 assigned schools, with potential for a third school addition
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families to implement individualized plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies and procedures
- Ensure all certification and licensing requirements are met and maintained
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA SLPA certification preferred
- Completion of time-sensitive credentialing including TEA fingerprints
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting is beneficial
