This onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) contract position focuses on vital skills development, direct therapy, ARD participation, and evaluation support for a dedicated student caseload of 60-80. Your role will directly impact student progress within a collaborative, education-focused environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current SLPA license required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong familiarity with caseloads of 60-80 students
- Ability to independently conduct therapy sessions and support evaluation and ARD processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, support staff, and families
- Organizational skills to effectively manage time across a single elementary campus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with individualized plans
- Support comprehensive student evaluations and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Collaborate with district staff and contribute to an inclusive, student-focused atmosphere
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes compliant with district and regulatory guidelines
- Communicate with caregivers and instructional staff regarding student progress and strategies
Position Details:
- Contract role from August 12, 2026, to May 21, 2027
- 37.5 hours per week, onsite only
- Work at one elementary campus, ensuring strong continuity of student care
- Caseload of approximately 60-80 elementary learners focused on evaluations, ARDs, and therapy
