Unlock rewarding opportunities as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. In this contract position, you'll closely partner with a Tele SLP, sharing a dynamic caseload in a collaborative, educational environment. With a diverse group of 41 students (subject to change), youll provide both individual and group interventions to help learners reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license/certification as required by state guidelines
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a supervising SLP, teachers, and support staff
- Comfortable providing services to a mixed-age, diverse student population
- Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to manage responsibilities across three buildings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions following a set schedule: 16 individual and 37 group 30-minute treatments per week
- Serve students ranging from elementary through high school, adapting methods and approach as appropriate
- Document student progress, update the supervising SLP, and maintain compliance with all required documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute input for student care plans
- Travel between school buildings (all within close proximity) as needed to serve students on your caseload
