Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027 and is based entirely on-site. Work closely with educators, therapists, and families to help children reach their speech and language goals in an engaging school environment. Key Qualifications:

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the North Carolina Speech Board (or previously held NC temporary SLPA registration)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, providing therapy and thorough documentation of services
  • Strong organizational and digital skills for effective documentation and communication, including Google Drive and MS Office proficiency
  • Collaborative mindset, ready to support diverse student backgrounds and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting individualized education programs
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation for student sessions and progress reports
  • Communicate effectively with classroom staff and families regarding student goals and outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate in developing strategies to optimize student success
  • Complete requirements for NC Board of Examiners (NCBOE) registration post-hire, with supervision provided

This position is located on-site and may be assigned to one or more school campuses near Clayton, NC (exact assignments to be determined).
