This full-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering interventions to a small, manageable caseload of approximately 20 students, primarily at the elementary level, within a vibrant K-12 school environment. Your expertise as an SLPA will make a tangible difference in young lives across the entire 2026-2027 academic year.
What Youll Need:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification
- Current PPS Credential for California
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience supporting K-12 students, especially elementary-aged, is highly valued
- Commitment to onsite work for 35 hours per week
What Youll Do:
- Provide high-quality, individualized speech and language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities in line with students IEP goals
- Document sessions, progress, and observations accurately and timely
- Participate in staff and IEP meetings as required
- Communicate proactively with educators, parents, and supervisory staff
