This onsite contract assignment runs from August through June 2026, providing an opportunity to foster growth and communication skills across a diverse caseload. Key Qualifications:
- Texas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to support speech-language intervention under the supervision of an SLP
- Flexibility and adaptability in managing a K-12 caseload
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions to students as prescribed by the supervising SLP
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and documenting student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support student communication goals
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and session schedules
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
