Desired Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license in California required
• Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans created by licensed SLPs
• Organizational skills and ability to manage caseload documentation efficiently
• Commitment to fostering student growth and inclusion

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language programs designed by supervising SLP
• Assist with screening and evaluation under direction of SLP
• Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to improve communication skills
• Document student progress and prepare materials for therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings as required and support SLP in tasks related to student care
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to encourage carryover of skills across settings
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies
