Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students speech and language development as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for the 20262027 school year! This full-time, on-site position begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 9, 2027. As you contribute to a positive learning atmosphere, youll work alongside a supportive team and benefit from comprehensive onboarding, including assignment of a supervisor and assistance with NC Board of Examiners registration following hire.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active or eligible registration with the North Carolina Speech Board; previous temporary SLPA registration considered
  • Experience providing speech therapy and documenting services in a school setting
  • Proficiency using Google Drive and MS Office for documentation and communication
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with teachers and SLP supervisors to help students thrive

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver supportive speech-language therapy under the direction of a licensed SLP
  • Maintain organized, timely documentation of sessions and student progress
  • Communicate regularly with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Adapt strategies to match students individual needs across varied grade levels (caseload and age group to be assigned)
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a connected school community

On-site presence is required, allowing for hands-on support and professional growth within the school environment. Final school assignments and caseload details will be provided after interviews.
