Youll gain experience working with diverse caseloads of approximately 50-55 students across elementary and middle school settings. This in-person only opportunity ensures hands-on involvement and meaningful impact within the school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active FL DOH SLPA license required
- Experience supporting speech-language therapy within K-8 populations is a plus
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and travel between multiple school locations as needed
- Must complete required fingerprinting and be eligible for JLA clearance (previous prints via AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite this process)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and support services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development as needed
