You'll collaborate directly with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to help implement therapy plans and track student progress. Your expertise will not only make a difference in students academic success but also build their confidence and communication skills in daily life.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Must have a current state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and familiarity with data collection
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by a supervising SLP
- Support in assessment, documentation, and preparation of therapy materials
- Monitor student progress and record data accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
- Adapt activities and strategies to ensure inclusive access for all students
